Social network platforms including Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat have become widespread among internet users enabling individuals to connect with family and friends, share personal experiences, and promote business offerings. However, cybercriminals have exploited trust relationships in social networks to commit fraud, extortion and cyber-bullying activities.
To address these challenges, Kuwait Hackers has developed an innovative product, called Kuwait Open Source Intelligence Platform(Q8OSINT), that supplies law enforcement and government authorities with the tools needed for intelligence gathering and profiling of cyber-criminals, helping authorities to catch offenders and bring them to justice.
