Dr. Basel Alothman is the Founder and Managing Director of Kuwait Hackers LLC. Alothman currently interesting in information security teaching, solutions, and researching like Towards using Transfer Learning for Botnet Detection. Alothman received his Ph.D. in information security at DeMontfort University, Leicester, UK. He received his M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire, with a specialisation in cybersecurity. In addition to his work as a hacking instructor and penetration-testing expert, Alothman's research interests include machine learning for botnet detection and malware analysis for intrusion detection and prevention, OSINT. Also, Alothman holds many professional certificates such as CPTE, ECSA, CeH, C-WAST, and Advanced OSINT. Additionally, he is a member of various scientific and professional associations like ISSA, ISACA, BSC, IEEE.

Dr. Omar Al Ibrahim is a co-founder of Kuwait Hackers LLC. Before then, Dr. Omar worked with two reputable information security consulting firms in the United States as a security consultant namely Virtual Security Research (VSR) and Cigital Inc. specialized in application security and penetration testing. Afterwards, Dr. Omar joined Lookout Inc. as a security intelligence engineer where he focused on reverse engineering and threat hunting of mobile malware. He received his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University (USA), Dallas in 2012 and his Master's degree in Computer Science from Rice University (USA) in 2007. He is a GIAC Reverse Engineer Malware (GREM) certified and holds the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
